Packaging
Slice of Stainless ships only in state-of-the-art reusable packaging to ensure your order is received in prime condition. Our standard packages include:The "Slice Pack" - These custom made packages are designed to withstand the rigorous handling of shipping any method. The outside is constructed of double wall corrugated cardboard, the inside is a durable wood frame precisely designed for many of our standard sizes. The internal wood frame is constructed with 3/4 x 3/4 yellow pine to prevent edge damage during shipping.
Plastic Shipping Containers - These 1 and 5 gallon containers are produced from heavy duty plastic with reusable locking lids. The containers are primarily used when shipping larger quantities of precision cut material so there is no risk of damage or items being separated in transit.
Box skids - We demand all of our sheets to be shipped in a superior custom designed box skid. Our box skids are produced from top quality hardwood. The 2 x 4 fully framed box sides and ends prevents edges from being damaged. The bed of the skid is produced with 1 x 6 planks. 6" openings keep away objects that could infiltrate from the bottom and harm the material.
